This Privacy Policy explains how HCtrade collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects personal information for website users, future mobile app users, buyers, sellers, and quotation or contract participants.
1. Information we collect
We may collect name, email, country, calling code, phone number, account type, seller status, saved vehicles, quotation requests, contract information, payment receipt uploads, communication records, preferences, device data, analytics events, and security logs.
2. How we use information
We use information to create and secure accounts, verify email ownership, process buyer and seller requests, prepare quotations, invoices, contracts, local vehicle listings, export coordination, customer support, fraud prevention, analytics, and service improvement.
3. Legal and operational basis
We process information where needed to provide requested services, prepare or perform a transaction, protect our website and users, comply with legal or tax obligations, manage disputes, or where you have given consent such as account registration or optional communications.
4. Service providers and third parties
We may use service providers such as Supabase for authentication and database services, Vercel for hosting, Cloudflare R2 for image storage, Resend or email providers for messages, Google Analytics for website analytics, and WhatsApp/Meta when users choose to communicate through those platforms.
5. International processing
HCtrade works across Korea, Albania, Kosovo, and other buyer countries. Your information may be processed or stored in countries different from your residence, depending on hosting, storage, email, analytics, and communication providers.

We keep account and transaction information only as long as reasonably needed for service operation, customer support, accounting, legal compliance, fraud prevention, dispute handling, and export documentation. Some records may be retained longer where law or legitimate business needs require it.
7. Security
Passwords are handled through Supabase Auth and are not stored in plain text by HCtrade application code. We use role-based access, server-side controls, and storage separation for vehicle images, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.
8. Your rights and choices
Depending on your location, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection to certain processing. We may ask for identity verification before acting on a request and may keep records where legally required.
9. Cookies and analytics
The website may use cookies, local storage, and analytics tools to keep sessions, remember preferences, measure visits, understand country-level traffic, improve performance, and protect the service. Browser settings may allow you to limit cookies.
10. Children
HCtrade is intended for adults and commercial vehicle inquiries. We do not knowingly create accounts for children or knowingly collect children's personal information.
11. Communications
If you contact HCtrade through WhatsApp, email, phone, or forms, communication records may be kept to respond to inquiries, verify requests, prepare quotations, support contracts, and document customer service history.
